These terminals allow the connection star-delta three-phase motors or two separate motors. Thanks to the excellent thermal resistance properties conferred by ceramics, they find application in machinery such as electric ovens, motors with high operating temperatures, equipment where very high temperature resistance is required, such as smoke and heat extraction fans. These terminal blocks are also used for star-delta switching of three-phase heaters.
